Itinerary:

Day 1. Arrival day in Ulaanbaatar, capital of Mongolia. 

Meet us at the airport and transfer to your accommodation. Optional city tour can be added on this day.

Day 2Tsagaan Suvarga – Natural Mud Formation. 

Today we will travel to Tsagaan Suvarga – it looks similar to the famous Grand Canyon in the United States. This impressive legendary cliff is eroded by natural phenomenon and looks like  many different shaped formations, its height is 60 meters and length is 400m. On the way, we will visit Dund Gobi city and have lunch, after lunch we continue our trip to Tsagaan Suvarga. We will arrive at our site and can do an hour hiking around the cliffs. Transfer to a tourist camp and stay overnight.

Day 3. Visit Yolyn Am (Vulture Valley Gorge) in the Gobi desert region.

We will travel to Yolyn Am gorge which is located in the spectacular Gobi Gurvan Saikhan mountain national park in the vast Gobi desert. On the way, we will stop at Dalanzadgad, the capital city of the Gobi desert and visit the Dinosaurs museum. Afternoon, we will arrive at Yolyn Am gorge and we will walk into the gorge. Transfer to tourist camp.

Day 4. Khongoryn Sand Dunes.

After breakfast, we travel to Khongoryn sand dune which is the largest sand dunes in Mongolia measuring some 400m high, 15km wide and 130km long. When we arrive at the sand dunes area, we will check in our camp and have lunch, after that we will ride Mongolia two humped bactrian camels to sand dunes and we will climb to the summit on foot. Transfer to tourist camp.

Day 5. Bayanzag (Flaming Cliffs)

In the morning, we travel to the famous Bayan zag, Flaming Cliffs known as ‘Cemetery of Dinosaurs’ that was discovered in the 1920’s by American adventurer Roy Chapman Andrews. This dramatic place is where picturesque mud stone formations that are internationally famous for dinosaurs remain. Afternoon, we will visit and in the evening, go for sunset pictures and overview the vast desert. Overnight at a tourist camp.

Day 6. Karakorum, Erdenezuu Buddhist Monastery Via Ongi Ruined Temple. 

We travel to Karakorum city which was the ancient capital of Mongolian empire in the Genghis Khan time. On the way, we will quickly visit the Ongi ruins of the 17th monastery in the Gobi desert. Afternoon, we arrive at Karakorum, the ancient capital and transferred to a tourist camp.

Day 7. Khorgo, Terkh National Park.

In the morning, we will visit at Erdenezuu legendary Buddhist monastery and we will travel through beautiful valleys and mountains. We reach at Khorgo, Terkh national park and bring you to great white lake and extinct volcanic mountain which was erupted some 8 thousand years ago. We stop passing along the edge of the Chuluut River Canyon, its water flashing far below. Surrounding places are picturesque beautiful. Picnic lunch on the way, hiking to visit at all sites and transfer to tourist camp.

Day 8. Jargalant Hot Spa, Huvsgul Province.

In the morning, we will travel to enter into other terrains. It is so beautiful places and full of yaks and herds. On the way, we break our journey to stay overnight at Jargalant natural hot spa.

Day 9. Murun Capital, Northern Mongolia.

We are traveling through mountain passes, viewing on the mountain passes to over down is spectacularly beautiful, picnic lunch on the way. We stay overnight at Murun capital town of Huvsgul province, northern Mongolia.

Day 10. Lake Huvsgul, Mongolia’s Top Scenic Atrraction.

Our journey takes us to famous Mongolian Lake ‘Huvsgul’ fresh watered lake and second largest lake in the country. When we arrive at Huvsgul lake national park, we will have rest and stay overnight at tourist camp. Enjoy hiking around lake.

Day 11 – 12. Leisure day in Lake Huvsgul.

Today is your leisure day but if you like adventures, we can go to hike or horse ride to mountain to see panoramic view of the Huvsgul lake. You can do also boating or kayaking on lakes. Stay overnight at tourist camp. Last Day evening, we will drive back to Murun city to catch next morning flight.

Day 13. Ulaanbaatar.

In the early morning, we will take a flight to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to your hotel and free afternoon. If you want, you can do shopping or can take a city tour. In the evening, we watch Folklore performance of ‘Tumen – Ekh’ ensemble and will have farewell dinner. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 14. Departure Day.

You are transferred to airport/ train station and farewell.
