Reindeer tribe locally called “Tsaatans” are only one fascinating people who herding the reindeer in remote area of the Mongolia and practicing on their shamanism ceremony. Itinerary:
Day 1. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, Capital of Mongolia & City Tour.
Meet us at airport in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Transfer to your hotel. Start taking city tour that including National Museum of Mongolia, where we can get first introduction of the country. Then we visit at Sukhbaatar main square. Have lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 2. Take a Flight to Moron, Huvsgul. Northern Mongolia.
In the morning, we will take a flight to Moron town, capital of Huvsgul province, northern Mongolia. Meet with our local guide and driver. Quick stops at local market in town. Then we will be heading to the reindeer people. On the way, we will stay overnight at tents in beautiful place.
Day 3. Travel to Tsagaan Nuur Village & Tsaatan Community Visitors Center.
We will continue our journey through beautiful landscape and late afternoon we will be arrived at Tsagaan Nuur village, where we will pack for the horseback trek to the reindeer tribe. Stay overnight at Tsaatan community guest house at Tsagaan Nuur village and visit at Tsaatan community visitor’s center (TCVC).
Day 4. Horse Trek to Reindeer Tribe.
In the morning, we will meet with our local horseman and pack our stuff on horses. We will ride to reindeer tribe for 30km. Horse riding trail is fascinating like you are in heaven. In the late evening, we will reach at our reindeer tribe. Stay overnight at your own tent in the tribe.
Day 5 – 6. Exploring Reindeer Tribe & Ride Reindeer & Attending Shaman Ritual.
Those full 2 days, we will stay among the reindeer tribe and will experience from their daily life. We will visit at reindeer families who are living together as a groups and can meet with Shaman and practicing from their religious ritual that has been run thousands of years in Mongolia. Stay overnight at Tents in the tribe.
Day 7. Ride Back to Tsagaan Nuur Village.
In the morning, we will leave the reindeer tribe and will ride down to base camp. Meet with our driver and travel back to next stop by car. Stay overnight at tents.
Day 8. Travel to Lake Huvsgul, Most Beautiful Part of the Country.
Today we will travel to Huvsgul Lake for good rest after long adventurous journey. Lake Huvsgul is one of the best destination in Mongolia. We arrive at the lake and stay overnight at good tourist Ger camp.
Day 9. Stay at Lake Huvsgul, Touring Around.
This day, we will have good rest on lakeside and if you want we can do touring around such as hiking, horse riding and boating. B+L+D.
Day 10. Travel to Moron City, Huvsgul Province.
In the afternoon, we will travel to Moron city. Free evening in the city. Stay overnight at good hotel.
Day 11. Flight to Ulaanbaatar Capital.
In the morning, you are transfer to airport and take a flight to Ulaanbaatar and we will pick you up from airport and check in your hotel. Free afternoon is on your own but if you want, you can do shopping. In the evening, we will watch the folklore performance of Tumen Ekh ensemble. Farewell dinner.
Day 12. Departure day.
You are transfer to airport and farewell.
